The Last Bloodcarver is engaging from the very beginning. Nhika is a healer who is trying to make a living. At first it’s hard to distinguish just what’s going on. I felt like the story is set in India as it shows the definite disparity of a caste system. Within 3 chapters she is saved a life and then is running out o save hers. Just how she will get out of the trap she’s in is love to know.
