I didn't quite like the cover, but I'm sure that it would appeal to the middle grade and Y/A readers out there. The story was a little strange for me. And while I do enjoy the fantasy genre, The Last Bloodcarver just didn't hit all the right notes for me. It just came across as a wannabe reimagined vampire story.
