So far, I am very invested! I felt so bad that Nhika goes against her better judgment to save the woman's life, and is instead captured and imprisoned for her trouble. I am also quite curious about her abilities- it seems like she can use them for both good and evil, so I can see why people are a bit suspicious, but still! Seems like she has a lot of emotional baggage from not being able to save her mom, too, so I am looking forward to seeing her hopefully overcome that. Great start!
