When I picked up the First Look for “The Last Bloodcarver,” I had no idea what I was in for. Based on the cover, I assumed it was a run-of-the-mill young adult fantasy, but was pleasantly surprised to find this was anything but ordinary! I quickly became immersed in the storyline and the plight of Nhika, and genuinely can’t wait to read on! I’m anxious to find out about the girl who purchased Nhika from the Butchers (I’m keeping my fingers crossed that she is a friend). I’m also hopeful the boy who dropped the papers in the alley makes a return (a love interest perhaps?). Needless to say, this is one book I’m anxious to get my hands on!
