I love the cover, I was drawn to woman on the cover with her fierce expression and her body skeletonized, I had to know more about her and her story. I love the way we're introduced to Nhika, we learn who and what she is, what she can do and the price of her ability. I absolutely love the written descriptions of the inner body as she focuses on healing them. I really like the use of the anatomy, makes it more visceral. I like her sarcasm and wit, she's a very clever protagonist. I do wonder if she'll be clever enough to get herself out of the mess she's currently in tho. This sounds like such a a thrilling read and Nhika, an interesting character with secrets so deep and thorns guarding the cage she keeps them in.
