This book is a great reference and has lots of good information, but it seems to be more for people who have some experience with knitting than for those starting out. There is a lack of images to help support the instructional text.
I crochet and do not know how to knit, so I was hoping for more pictures to help me understand how to hold the needles and how to create the different stitches. The dictionary was a helpful tool to understand what all the words for knitting mean and how it works with a pattern. The images in the book were also black and white, which is fine, just isn't as aesthetically pleasing as some other crafting or knitting books I have seen. Overall, I would recommend this book for knitters who have a little more experience.
