Lots of information, sturdy, convenient size
I requested a copy of this book from Bookish First because I learn how to do things more easily if I understand the WHY behind the process. I like to know HOW things work.
It has been many years since I was shown the basics of knitting. I never seemed to progress beyond beginner.
Besides being a dictionary of terms, this compact volume has over 100 illustrations. It is simply arranged alphabetically with terms and abbreviations I may not understand or have forgotten.
The book is a nice hardback copy in a convenient size. It will hold up if you add it to your knitting bag and share with friends. I would rather refer to a book than be looking things up online when I am sitting in a group of friends knitting.
