As a advanced crocheter, and a not so advanced knitter, I've always wanted to learn more about knitting. As well as, advance my skills in knitting. I was glad I came across this book, because it helps me with that!
Starting me out with how much yarn to buy, what type of yarn to by, etc. The very basics, which I enjoyed because I've always wondered what yarn was better for cables and such. Then the A-Z part comes in, each letter has knitting concepts, for example ; letter A - Across the ROW/RND, Letter C - Cables, cable names, abbreviations, etc...
I found everything very helpful in this book and it should definitely help me in my quest to do more knitting, as well as, become a better knitter.
I do wish the book was bigger and had more photos or illustrations, instructions. However, this is not an instructional guide, this is a Dictionary of knitting terms and helps figuring them out. Which overall is a good addition to my stash of knitting books! I am off to buy some yarn!
