Very nice overview for the beginner
Learning to knit is more than figuring out how to coordinate your fingers. While it seems simple enough that young children can do it, to be able to follow a pattern and understand which yarns are best for which projects can be much more intense and intimidating.
With clear graphs and precise lists this book takes away some of that intimidation.
