I wish I had this book when I was learning to knit!

I wish I had this book when I was first learning to knit! After briefly learning to knit as a child, I picked up knitting again as an adult, learning mostly from books, websites, and video tutorials. I love knitting, and I love reading knitting books and looking at web-based pictures and patterns. As the author noted in the book’s introduction where she talked about her knitting history, I have gotten experienced at the physical knitting, but not at reading and being adept at following the complicated patterns. This book offers clear explanations. Though I am reviewing an advanced excerpt of this book, it is clear what a wonderful resource this book is: I already learned quite a few things from this short excerpt! As the author noted, it is both dictionary and encyclopedia. This book will be such a good resource for the beginning knitter, and enhance the knowledge of those more experienced. I am looking forward to having this resource at my side, as well as giving the book as gifts.
