I'm an avid knitter and I think this would make a great addition to any knitters library. It definitely seems to be aimed more at beginner knitters but as an advanced knitter I love having reference books. Sometimes its nice to be able to go back and refresh your memory. It seems to have a good amount of detail and information. I'm curious to see what else is covered in the book.
