I am an experienced knitter and am always looking for patterns and new stitch books. I'm sure if this is it. But, for a new knitter, this book could be a great resource. Instead of running to the Internet every time you run across a new abbreviation or term, you could just open this book. It makes information easy to find by arranging materials in alphabetical order and highlights extra info in boxes. An image of stitch abbreviations would be an added bonus. I didn't see any in the preview pages, but hope something like it is there.
