A really helpful tool for beginners or more experienced knitters

Like the author -- I, too, learned to knit at my elder's knee. In my eyes, my mother could do anything and she and my aunts taught my sister and cousins all the skills of needle crafting, furniture caning, maintenance and repair, etc. This book has recorded everything that was passed down orally by my dear mom and her sisters. I'm very anxious to get my hands on a copy so that I can "get knitting right." I've been creating from memory with varied results. This book will help me be more successful.
