I have been a self taught knitter for many years but I can still only create basic projects. My first impression of this book is that it will help me finally move beyond basic afghans. I am so excited to start knitting again as soon as I get this book. There is no doubt in my mind that I am going to spend my winter snuggled in a blanket that I made and knitting something new and beautiful.
