I really like this book a lot. I love the fact that it is based on real facts. It lets you know that there is more to the story of the town then what’s just at the surface and some people don’t want the to be exposed. Like the fact that not only is it a murder/ mystery but also very family oriented. I don’t recall ever reading a book that has a lot to do with homeless camps. I feel like the details about it were spot on about how things really are for them. I love all the details about Savannah’s sordid history. Great concoction of historical facts and modern day mystery. A few downfalls were that the story was kind of slow, was really waiting for something to happen and when I thought it would it didn’t. Seems like it just meandered to much. All the P.O.V. Switches made it a little hard to follow along at times and was confusing at times. A very unique book and would definitely recommend this book to others. Thank you for the ARC.
