I started this book twice. The first time, I was confused at the beginning so I put it down thinking I was not in the right frame of mind. I picked it back up a few weeks later with the intention of reading it. Well, I did read it but I had to push through the book to finish it. I found it to be completely disjointed because the author had several stories going it it wasn’t further into the book when they come together. There were so many characters, I had a hard time keeping them all straight. I found myself going back to reacquaint myself with who each person was. The point of the book was about a treasure one of the characters was guarding. As the book got to the climax, the reader never really finds out the treasure. I think the author’s attempt at symbolism was lost. One strange point was at the end, Ransom, one of the characters videos a fox being chased buy dogs and sends it to Jac, another character. I have no idea what that’s about! Lost on me! Thanks for the book!
