If you're familiar with Savannah, Georgia then I think you will enjoy all of the references to this unique city. I could picture It all so clearly because of my connection to the area and that gave this novel a special place in my mind. There are some nuances that might not make sense if you've never been there but It's not necessary to enjoy the story. Seriously, the amount of ghost tours is hard to picture unless you've been stuck behind them while running late to get across town. The story was a little hard for me to get into but then I really enjoyed It. There are multiple characters so you have to embrace that style and get to know this cast then It all falls into place. I found some of the transitions to be a little abrupt but as I moved through the story It became more fluid. The mystery is intriguing and the family was less than perfect so I loved that aspect. Especially the tough southern matriarch. The end of the novel gives some historical information that I found fascinating.

A special thank you to BookishFirst and Celadon Books for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
