Since I visited Savannah last month ( and fell in love with her) I just can not stop thinking about this beautiful city. When I saw the cover of Kingdoms of Savannah on instagram I knew I simply had to read this excerpt. And oh my it did not disappoint. With its spanish moss covered trees, beautiful but gloomy mansions, and ghost tours that romanticize the city’s history. I certainly participated in such a ghost tour and loved all of it, well this was a little off topic :-)
But look deeper and you’ll uncover secrets, past and present, that tell a more sinister tale. Whats not to like about sinister tales right?

Talking about sinister, the book opens with “A soft spring night in Savannah. In an hour Luke will be murdered, stabbed to death, and Stony will be snatched off the streets and hurled into darkness.

The writing style, the conversations, the characters, the visuals, the history, it's all here.
I am so going to enjoy this one!
