Thank you to bookish first for the advanced copy! I love winning these raffles and getting a first chance read at these books. I love that this book took place in Savannah. And the unsettled ghost past of the city played an excellent setting for this book. I went into it already knowing that I was going to hear about witches, or ghosts. And when the murder takes place it just through me into that much more of a nonstop binge reading moment. With Savannah comes the small town politics, small town minds, as well as the corruption that invades everyone. The writing beautifully depicted Savannah and all of the gorgeous parts the city has to offer. I felt like I was walking the streets right next to the characters. This book was not a fast read- and I appreciated that so that I can fully experience the story. This is absolutely a book that needs to be read!
