The cover looks like other thrillers that are out on the market, and I'm unsure what the red chair has to do with the story. The way the author opens the book has you hooked almost immediately from the first two sentences. The prose has an eerie quality to it, which goes along with the them of Savannah, a known ghost town. Something is amiss in Savannah, and I wanted to keep reading to find out more. Where does Stony live? What is this Kingdom? Is it another dimension or an alternate reality?
