I was surprised to enjoy this first look as much as did. The cover is captivating, but I still had my concerns. Intriguing and fast paced, you are immediately delivered to the action, and the story just keeps coming. The writing is descriptive but straightforward; you feel like you’re being told a story by a friend. I don’t know what the “kingdoms” are, but I do know I need to know how all of this comes together. Something tells me it will be twisty and explosive!
