After reading the first look, the main thing that caught my attention was the writing style. It’s much more direct and blunt. Immediately describing the characters as white and including their age rather than describing it and finding a way to include their age. I just found it very interesting! I think the plot and their circumstances are very interesting and the unique writing style compliments it. The cover design is intriguing, though it’s not one that would necessarily attract me.
