When I read the description saying this book was a literary thriller set in Savannah, I imagined people sitting on the porches of their big houses on tree-lined streets. This story starts out in a much grittier setting with characters that are not in high society. I’m curious as to what will happen with Stoney’s story and how it will fit into Ransom Musgrove’s investigation.
