This is my first review on Bookish so bare with me. The cover is eye catching for sure. I love the way the dark red sofa and black lagoon make it look refined. The font is enchanting and appealing to the eye. The several ways the author uses diction in their book blows me away!
The first look wasn't enough for me. I can picture myself right along with Luke and Stony inside the bar. Jaq's brazen come-backs with the customers at the bar made me laugh out loud. Stony's mother reminds me of my mom. I'm eager to see what the Musgrove Family find in the investigation. Plus I want to know more about this Kingdom!
