Looks alright, but not for me

The writing is wonderful but the book premise and from the first look it's not for me. I definitely need more than 2 chapters to understand the direction the book is headed, but with just the glimpse, I probably wouldn't pick up this book. It seems like an interesting read and the cover is neat.
