So, I still have yet to read anything by Marie Lu and after reading this sampler I am wondering to myself WHY NOT? I was blown away by the writing and wow. I am so absorbed already. I love retellings, usually in anyway. However, I didn't know I needed a Mozart retelling until now. Just by the introduction I can tell Marie Lu has amazing writing and she is going to completely absorb me with this book.
The way her words flow and the introduction of the characters were just amazing. I am still in wonderment as I write this that I have gone this long without being exposed to her writing. Everything I just read had such a good flow and what a unique story! This is something I would have never expected and I have very high hopes for the rest of the book. I can't wait to dive in and make this my first Marie Lu book!
