I'm very intrigued by this book.
The first thing to draw me in about this book was the cover. I mean, it is gorgeous! But I've actually read this author before and have very much enjoyed the books I read from her.
I absolutely loved Marie Lu's Legend series. I am very interested and curious about this book. I'm interested to see how she does writing a historical versus the dystopian books, like the Legend series.
After the cover drew me in the blurb and the first look really has me eager to read the full book.
Including the music is a new to me touch with young adult historical fiction and I am very interested to see that part play out in the book. I love when authors include music in such an important way.
Needless to say I am very intrigued and can't wait to read The Kingdom of Back.
