I’m a music major at college, so this book really appeals to me. I’ve always thought Nannerl was an interesting girl overshadowed by Wolfgang. Before her father started carting Wolfgang around, she was the one he tried to tell everyone was special and virtuosic. Well, then Wolfgang figured out a piece she played by ear and played it really well, and suddenly Wolfgang was the star. I’d love to know what Nannerl was thinking through all this, as she must have had a lot of thoughts. Did she think she was going to be one of the first famous women and a proponent for women’s activism? What did she want with her life? How did she live after her father died? Did Wolfgang support her with the little money he had? I’m super excited for this book!
