Premise sounds unique and the writing style is inviting.

I've wanted to try a Marie Lu nevel since hearing about the well-received Warcross series. Being a historical fantasy with such a unique premise, The Kingdom of Back sounds up my alley. The writing style is articulate and elegant but very easy to understand. The time period seems accurately written. Also really like the cover and inclusion of maps on the first couple of pages, definitely illustrates what I hope will be a consistently wide scope to the fantasy world presented here. Promising!
