As an avid Marie Lu fangirl, "Kingdom of Back" is at the top of my most anticipated releases of 2020. What immediately caught my eye was the cover. The longer you stare at it, the more you start to notice. I also loved the maps at the beginning of the book. That let's me know we are in for an adventure!
I was pulled in straight away from the first paragraph and was left wanting more. Marie Lu is a master of worldbuilding and I can already see snippets of it in the small amount that I read. This is definitely the historical fiction I never knew I needed!
