I've never read Marie Lu's work before because she generally writes a books that don't really fit my genre preference. This book may be enough to make me reconsider my previous choice to not read her other books. It's beautifully written with a compelling premise. The very beginning had both an inviting and haunting tone. I'd like to know how the rest of the story goes.
