Oh man. I just recently read The Starless Sea and The Ten Thousand Doors of January, and let me tell you ... everything about the first few pages reminded me of the lyrical writing in those books. A bit of a magical feel, definitely some whimsy ... a story to be told and a reader who is invited along for the journey. It is everything I love to love. I want this book.
