My first impression of this book was "fairytale vibes" and "music"! I love fairytales, and those vibes in the first few pages really drew me in. I already feel sympathy for the narrator Nannerl, which is a good sign. I'm curious to keep reading more about the Kingdom of Back; I think it is a really unique idea to combine a faery kingdom world with a historical fiction story about Mozart's sister. Wow. If Marie Lu can pull off the execution, I'm anticipating this may be a 5-star read. (I really hope it will be.) The cover looks magical and fits perfectly with the faery element. Even the maps look magical!
