I love how it begins with a storyteller motive, someone directly addressing the audience draws you into the mystery and intrigue that comes along with the lesser known sister of Mozart. There is something magical in this narration. It is vivid and full of star-like imagery. I probably would not have picked this book up upon first glance because it appears too fantasy, YA for me, but after reading this beginning excerpt, I feel like I need to get my hands on a copy!
