Marie Lu's writing is cinematic in ways I can't even begin to describe! Her writing style fits the atmosphere so perfectly for The Kingdom Of Back. The story is intriguing, layered with mystery and follows such a wonderful protagonist. From this first sample alone I want to learn more about Nannerl and her story! The Kingdom Of Back is set in a genre I absolutely love, historical fantasy!! Can't believe I'll have to wait until 2020 for this book, from what I'd read so far I loved it. I've been an avid reader of Marie's for a long time and was wondering if her first novel would ever be published and it finally is, I'm so excited for where Marie's next tale leads next!
