My first thought when I hear Mozart is the film Amadeus, based on multiple middle school screenings of the film when a chorus teacher had a substitute in. This seems like a much more enjoyable, account involving the Mozart family. Lu's Nannerl is brilliant, anxious, a gifted storyteller, and devoted to her brother, without fawning over him. The fantasy elements shine in the story, and I look forward to seeing it develop!
