I'll admit that this is my first reading of Marie Lu's work, but if her previously published titles are as lyrical and lovely as her prose in this First Look is then I simply must go back and read everything she's written.
Nannerl is a character that immediately drew me in-feelings of not being good enough, especially in the eyes of one's parents, is such a relatable feeling, and I can't wait to read more and find out if and when she grows in confidence in herself!
As if the stunning imagery wasn't enough, the cover is beautiful and blue. I definitely can't wait to read this one.
