The cover was eyecatching. I love the green. It made me excited for the story. The opening did not match the cover. You went from beautiful to smoking on the side of an oil rig. The sentences were very long, multiple ands in one sentence. Sentences that start with “but” and the rest start with “she.” It went from very long run on sentences to short fragmented sentences. The descriptions were wordy and I did not feel connected.
