A story that blends ocean archaeology in a scan of the Marianas Trench with the discovery of a ship of probable alien origin with a delightful spin on who or what has been found and what will happen next. Science fiction typically happens in outer space but this explores another possibility. The story is told from two perspectives; bright young people struggling to make sense of the realities before them.
