That introduction absolutely scared me. The Abyss...and it's unknown monsters...stuff of nightmares. Mine anyway.
I am terrified of the ocean. Sarah Long, however, is not. She lives and breathes the ocean...her job is to work alongside it..in it..and within it. Struggles in school...persevered..landed herself on The Lewis...a survey ship. I have chills for all I have read so far...and all I eagerly hope to continue reading.
