This was a suspenseful ride right from the start! I loved the seemingly mundane life that appears to the be the background for Sarah's leap into the fantastic events simmering, quite literally, under the surface. The portrayal of the dichotomy between corporate interests and scientific exploration seemed on point and much too real to make one comfortable. Throw in the confusion that appears when one wakes up to an emergency situation, and you've got real winners for suspense. I loved the character Trin's approach to his awakening amidst an epochal emergency! I can't wait to read this!!!
