My 'first impression' is that there are a couple of storylines here. First, we have Sarah, a new geologist working on an oil rig. She is helping with a scan of an abyss and found something intriguing. We also get a glimpse into what she discovered and someone who is Waking up from a long (thousands of years) sleep. I am looking forward to seeing how these stories and people come together!
