I enjoyed my first look at this book. I liked how the introduction set the mood, but was brief. I liked the character of Sarah and how the book quickly entered into a quick pace. I liked the writing style.
As for the cover, I do not hate the cover. The cover's coloring and use of fonts is nice. However, (to me) it sort of looks as though a young girl is eating a mountain as she ponders why she's eating a mountain. The title of the book tells me that the "mountain" is likely an arrow, but if that's the case, I'd wonder why she merely contemplates as an arrow spirals toward her head. On second thought, I am probably just overthing the cover.
