A bit of a rough start, but by page 10 you're sucked in

Lost Arrow gets off to a bit of a rough start, and I was kind of worried. I like the premise a lot, but it seemed like it wasn't very well written or very well edited, with a lot of repetitive words and unnecessary commas all over the place... Thankfully by page 10 the writing solidifies just as the story starts rolling. It reads a little like someone's rough first draft where they went "Ugh, I don't know how to get this out right, so I'm just going to WRITE and get it OUT and just write through it and fix it later," only they never went back to fix it. Thankfully the rest of the first look reads like it is well written (and well edited) so maybe the first 10 pages is a bit of a fluke?

Regardless, I'm excited to read more and can't wait to find out what happens next!
