This book turned out to be exactly what I expected it to be which isn't a bad thing because I genuinely enjoy this author's writing style and how she goes about things. I'm happy that this book didn't end up disappointing me in that kind of way.
That being said as far a mystery and crime book goes, I thought that it was fairly average and run of the mill, which again, is not a bad thing. However, when writing in this specific genre because all of the books are the same I feel that authors should genuinely try harder to make every case seem all the more interesting while keeping it realistic. Because when you think about real life cases they're all unique, there is never two that are the exact same and I feel like crime mysteries should be like that as well.
