I have not read the first part of this series, and had no idea it was a part two when I requested it. I thought it was written very well - great pacing and good, suspenseful chapters.
I wasn’t “wowed” with this one, but it may be because I didn’t read the first of the series? I’m not sure. I loved Alex and Cap, but I feel like I was missing out on much of their relationship somehow.
The story was interesting and kept me going, but I just didn’t feel as though I needed to know what the conclusion would be as much as I normally would in this type of novel.
It was good, but not great. That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t pick up another novel in the series though! And I may go back and read part 1.
