First off let me start this by saying that this is the first book that I have read of hers, but wow. This book is great. The character development throughout the book was fantastic. I also enjoy the fact that Vega uses her voice as an author to write about real life issues that are going on in our world! Human trafficking is a major issue in many countries, and not a lot of things are said about it because it is such a delicate issue. I very rarely give a book a 5 star rating, but this was close. I love how you think you have discovered the identity of the suspect and then in a twist it is not that person. I like to be shocked and surprised until the very end. This book was an excellent read and one I would recommend!
