The Janes is a story of private investigator Alice Vega and her partner Cap who are called in to help with the investigation of two young jane does. They have no ids, no names, and no one looking for them. Once Vega and Cap start digging into the case they quickly fear that this is more than likely human trafficking. They have no idea what is coming their way and how deep this case goes. They not only have to find out who killed the two girls but they also need to save the remaining girls they find all while clearing their own names after being set up. I enjoyed all the characters and I loved the relationship between Vega and Cap. Not knowing there was another story involving them before this one I now want to read it. I really enjoyed this book and would love to read more from this new to me author.
