I haven't read Louisa Luna's previous books, or (obviously) her prequel to this one. But I have to say that the writing is very good and that first chapter was a hook! I had to keep reading to find out how these characters were going to intersect. I love that it's a female protagonist who is a badass and I'm here for it. The writing seems very feminist and if this was my genre I think I would totally check it out.
