"The Janes" looks like a great read about a well-known female detective who is brought in to help solve a double murder case of two "Jane Does," likely undocumented teen girls who were being sex-trafficked. Although a terrifying case, it is sadly the reality of many young, undocumented young girls in America today. This might be a bit difficult to read due to the descriptions of the violence done to these young women, props to the author for bringing this timely issue to light.
